Cooled LNA : Cooled Low Noise Amplifier

The 9838 series cooled low noise amplifiers are made using HEMT and are designed for use as a microwave/millimeter wave front-end or as a millimeter/sub-millimeter IF amplifier. Superior low noise performance is evident not only at room temperature, but is designed to reach a maximum when the device is cooled to 15K.

Electrical Performance
  • Model 9838AL operates on a +5V single power source (approx. 30mA) and other models are used in conjunction with a specialist bias controller, model 8841H (±15V, approx. 90mA).
