GUNN Oscillator

The 3849 and 3845 series gunn oscillators utilize a gunn diode to achieve high purity and stability. Our GUNN oscillators cover a wide frequency range, from the Q band to W band. In addition, it is possible to accurately set the frequency making our devices ideal as millimeter band transmitters and local oscillators.

Q band (33-50GHz) and U band (40-60GHz) cavity adjustment is done by frequency adjustment only, while E band (60-90GHz) and W band (75-110GHz) cavity adjustment is done by both frequency and output power adjustment, in order to achieve wide bandwidth and high output.

It is also possible to electrically vary the frequency and conduct phase synchronization through the use of a bias regulator.
