GPS TIME TRACKING RECEIVER

MODEL 7651 series (7651A/B) GPS time tracking receiver utilizes artificial satellites with GPS, and outputs a time signal or standard frequency synchronous with the highly accurate atomic clock onboard the satellite, allowing for high speed data transmission, long distance observation control, and synchronization of time and frequency between different locations involved in VLBI etc. In addition it is possible to use the time comparison function to observe hydrogen maser, cesium, rubidium atomic standard clocks etc. Also includes 2 BCD time output systems which when connected with a PC or workstation etc, allow the user to match times.

Application Examples
  • Computer network system time control
  • Timing control for high speed data transmission
  • Power transmission, ocean floor cable trouble observation
  • Standard time at broadcasting stations
  • Frequency standardization for measuring equipment
  • VLBI, Landform observation network time synchronization
  • Standard frequency source for synchronous broadcasting
  • Standard clock time observation

*Time signals received by GPS are accurately synchronous with UTC (USNO).
