This device adjusts output frequency by producing variations in a back-short
plunger with a micrometer head, in a simple design allowing accurate adjustment
of frequency. By utilizing an isolator on the output it is possible to
achieve stable oscillation with respect to the load, making this device
ideal for use as a millimeter band transmitter or local oscillator. In
addition, the option of motor drive and phase synchronization is possible.
